These series of paintings have their main concept and inspiration in women, their meaning, beauty, complexity, and role in society. Brushstrokes in these series are stronger and static, with more focus in texture.  The shapes are being simplified. Big scale canvas that have flower themes inspired in women such as Georgia O’Keffe, Frida Kahlo, and Myriam Shapiro. Working, exercising, being a mother, being a doctor, a friend, so many roles women have to face daily. So many high standards we as women face in todays society, needing to be perfect in every single way.
